Travellers from Wuhan and Hubei Province 

  If you have travelled from Wuhan or Hubei Province to the UK in the last 14 days you should immediately:
    •stay indoors and avoid contact with other people as you would with the flu
    •call NHS 111 to inform them of your recent travel to the area
 
 Please follow this advice even if you do not have symptoms of the virus.
  

Travellers from other parts of China and other specified areas   

This advice applies to travellers who have returned to the UK from the following areas:
   •China
   •Thailand
   •Japan
   •Republic of Korea
   •Hong Kong
   •Taiwan
   •Singapore
   •Malaysia
   •Macau
 
  If you have returned to the UK from any of these areas in the last 14 days and develop symptoms of cough or fever or shortness of breath, you should immediately:
    •stay indoors and avoid contact with other people as you would with the flu
    •call NHS 111 to inform them of your recent travel to the country
    
  Please follow this advice even if your symptoms are minor.
 
 If you have recently returned from abroad and are contacting the practice for medical assistance, please telephone rather than booking appointments online or visiting reception in person.  Please let us know your travel history when you book your appointment.

Breast screening for all of our eligible patients is currently under way.  If you have received your invitation - make sure you attend!

Adult Flu Vaccinations

Our Adult Flu Vaccination Programme will commenced on in October 2019 but we are still offering vaccinations to those patients eligible.
The best time to have a Flu vaccine is in the autumn from the beginning of October to the end of November to be sure it covers you for the winter months.
This year we will be sending out SMS messages to those of you who we hold mobile number for. The remaining patients will be getting a letter.
We are offering pre-bookable appointments throughout the week, including Wednesday evenings and Saturday mornings.
