This practice aims to provide the highest quality health care available under the NHS to all its patients, with a trained and motivated primary health care team; in a well organised, modern and friendly setting.
You may wish to have someone present with you during your consultation or treatment. This person may be a friend, family member or a member of our staff. Please let reception know if you wish a member of our staff to accompany you. We are very happy to accommodate your wishes, but please note that the person attending will hear everything that is said. Our staff are bound by confidentiality not to disclose any information to any other person.

We maintain the highest level of patient confidentiality and we value personal privacy.
Information is accessed by staff at the surgery only to the level that is required in order to fulfil our obligations
We will only pass on personal information to a third party with the informed written or verbal consent of the individual.
We take all reasonable care to protect both the physical security of information technology and the data contained within it.
All information systems are firewall and password protected and all paper files are kept secure.
In certain circumstances we may be required to pass some information to other parties. These circumstances include information required by statute or court order or where there is a serious public health risk or harm to other individuals or for the prevention, detection or prosecution of serious crime. We fully comply with the Data Protection Act
We make every effort to give the best possible service to everyone who attends our Practice.
You can complain within 6 months of the incident or within 6 months of you realising that you have a complaint, provided it is within 12 months of the event.
If any patient has a suggestion, concern or complaint, please write to or speak to either Mrs Sue East or Dr Weaver, and we will deal with the matter straight away.
The process for managing primary care complaints are managed by NHS England. If a patient wishes to complain they can either contact the GP practice (as above) or NHS England as follows:
